Rocky Mountain 2007 Flow DJ Reviews:
Rocky Mountain definitely win the award for best paint finish, although it doesn't really surprise me as they seem to be almost anally retentive about every aspect of their products. That can only be a good thing for you the customer, after all you know that whatever is is they've made, it's been done with a bit of care. This particular frame is a tweaked dirt jump version of the standard Flow, with sizing coming down to the top tube lengths rather than the seat tube. I find it a bit of a pity that teh Rocky Mountain tradition of mounting the seat stays above the top tube means that the almost straight lines that a frame of this size normally produces are lost, but it still looks purposeful shall we say. The head tube looks like something you'd normally find on a DH bike, so I'm sure you'll be replacing several pairs of forks before this gives in. The rear dropouts are equally as reliable, and like the Chameleon they are horizontal but with a fixed disc mount. This time though the wheelbase can be adjusted whilst using a rear mech, and despite the mount not sliding, the rear mech hanger does! The inclusion of an ISCG mount finishes off what is as you might say 'a perfect tool for the job', although if it's just a bit too specialised for you then maybe consider the standard version instead.
