Profile: Cove

Super tough bikes for riders that like to go bigger, further and faster. Raced on the UK downhill and XC circuit, born and thrashed on Canada's North Shore. Silverfish UK imports the full Cove Bikes line-up, including the legendary Stiffee FR and the Hummer XC.

It's one of the baddest, raddest, biggest animals in our woods. Stealth, strong, fortified, fast, and always on the move: the cougar. A predator with all of nature's meanest, most efficient killing features at its disposal: claws for ripping, muscle for shredding, tough, intelligent, crafty, fast, and of course, highly adapted to the wild woods of the world. Basically, the cougar has got it all. Top of the food chain. Serious ass kicker. Not bad looking either.

At Cove Bikes we aspire to make rides that can hang with the likes of the cougar. Bikes that rip, rides that shred, built to perform and last in some of the world's toughest environments. That's why our line of bikes are regularly recognised as top of the food chain rides themselves, time and again.

Check our 2009 offerings. Get one. If you don't ride like a cougar, at least you'll have a chance of getting away from one.

Cove Bikes, roaring through the forest since 1981.

What Mountainbike Review - Cove's Stiffee
This hard-kicking Easton RAD alloy frame from the Deep Cove bike shop in Vancouver was one of the first true hardcore hardtail frames available. It is still one of the few frames on the market that is compatible with dual crown downhill forks, making its high cost a worthwhile investment for truly mental riders.
