RaceFace's new gloves are designed to give full function without a full fat price tag. Coming in at less than £30, they're well made and comfortable. The palm features strategic seam placement mated with 2mm of open cell foam - mid palm - to aid comfort without compromising feel or control on the bar. The large snot pad on the thumb is very welcome, while the open mesh back helps cool things somewhat. That said, the tough nylon fingers offer protection but up the temperature a little, making these best suited to mixed or spring-like days.

MBUK Verdict: Simple but fully featured - great gloves for not a lot of cash
