Top sprinter and former World Champion, Mark Cavendish, knows that power is nothing without control which is why the Manx Missile will be relying on Supacaz Kush bar tape as he heads to Yorkshire to start his 2014 Tour de France campaign.

One of the fastest sprinters in the world, the Isle of Man born rider has clocked up 43 Grand Tour stage wins including 25 TdF stages and this weekend he will go in search of adding to that tally as he lines up alongside his Omega Pharma-Quick Step team mates for the 101st edition of the famous race.

Being connected to your bike and feeling comfortable is very important especially when you have to turn on the power after over 200km of racing and sprint for the line. To keep connected and ready for that 'jump' Cavendish will use standard Supacaz Kush bar tape on all his race and training bikes this season meaning he can concentrate on crossing the line ahead of the peloton.
