The second instalment in our poster bikes series casts the camera at a rather dark bike build. With its raw carbon finish and subtle logos the new Undead from Evil Bikes is a downhill bike which looks like it has been forged from the fires of hell by Beelzebub himself as well as selling your soul to own one.

It's fair to say that Evil Bikes have been on quite a journey during the companies lifetime with as many highs as there have been lows but through blood and sweat they have kept the beast alive. Their latest creation the Undead is a downhill bike unlike the world has ever seen. Constructed from carbon fibre the Undead's matt black frame offers riders 205mm of rear wheel travel as well as adjustable geometry all based around Dave Weagle’s Delta Link suspension system.

Flip Chip geometry gives you the ability to tune your BB height while upfront the bike features an adjustable head angle giving you the ability to go from a steep set-up to a slack one without the need for additional headset cups. Add to that metal inserts feature at all critical points and a rubber chain pads is fitted to keep your ride in top condition. Out of the box dampening duties are handled by a Fox RC4 rear shock which is protected by a removable mud guard and a replaceable ISCG mounts is the perfect partner for your e*thirteen chain guide.

The bike you see here was built for a trade show we attending and is now with MBUK magazine for test. The build looks like someone has won a trolley dash around our warehouse with Race Face SIXC carbon bars and cranks, new Race Face Atlas I-Beam saddle and seat post, Formula Oval brakes, e*thirteen LG1+ DH wheels and Shimano Saint drive chain. Tipping the scales at just over 35lbs with steel banded tyres and DH tubes the Undead is going to be one of the hottest bikes of 2013. Oh and the frame has an SRP of £2499!
