UK Bike magazine MBR review Evoc's CC-10L trail bag, in this months Mag (June 2011), check the full review.

Munich based Evoc now has a narrower 10-litre version of the CC16L hydration pack I've been using for over a year. The Euro' styled backpack is lightweight and fairly diminutive, but I've still managed to get (deep breath) a DSLR camera body with two lenses in a dry bag, a PacLite jacket, mini pump, shock pump, pressure gauge, two tubes and a multi-tool in it with a full two-litre bladder, so there's clearly plenty of space. There are also more than enough internal compartments, and a helmet storage flap.

EVOC's own Hydrapak two-litre bladder is of the easy-to-fill, wide sliding-neck variety (I actually choose to use a Camelbak three litre bladder in my larger 16-litre pack). The locking nozzle doesn't quite pump out fluid as fast as a Camelbak, but it's definitely easier to get into to clean gunk out of the corners if you drink anyting but pure water.

The backpack is made from PU coated rip stop nylon, with a padded mesh back using the Evoc air circulation system. This channels air through recessed grooves in the padding and works to an extent, but I've yet to find a pack that really keeps your back sweat-free. It sits comfortably on my spine though, with vented shoulder straps set wide enough so they don't dig in.

I've snapped the same chest harness clip as on my old Evoc pack, but everything else is functioning exactly as new after a lot of hard use, so while it's expensive, durability is good.
