Raceface's Waterproof baggy short has been given MBUK's run down here's what they had to say:

The Ambush is all about the legs, which although slim - and we mean very slim - do articulate well over the knee. Thanks to long stretch panels, they move with you too.

The grey fabric does remind us of primary school shorts - in fact, ours could have probably done with being made from the same stuff as this, because it does have a very durable handle. The addition of a DWR finish means the short sheds water extremely well - we even returned from one especially splashy outing completely dry.

The back has an odd cut though - it's straight across and tended to pull down, and the inner waist tabs couldn't hold it in place. And even though the waistband is lined with a softer wichking mech we could feel the Velcro strips.
