Lets have a look at what they had to say.

Chain Device extraordinaires e*thirteen are now using technology developed by the Hive to offer these - their first set of downhill cranks.

The big news is the polygonal-style interface where the 30mm chromoly spindle meets the forged and machined 7050 aluminium crank arm. Devised during World War Two in tank engines, it increases the contact area in a bit to ensure that every iota of power you mash through the pedals hits the chain.

Weighing in at just 775g (arms and spindle only), they're available in a range of sizes to fit just about every downhill bike out there.
