After years away from the competitive Cross Country race circuit this weekend sees the turquoise colours of Yeti Cycles once again head to the start line of the BC National Cross Country Series under the newly formed UK based Yeti Racing XC team.

Based in the South West the three rider strong team of Dexter Hurlock, Ross Flashman and James Porter will be competing at all of the BC National Cross Country Series races, National XC Championships and regional events throughout the season as well as attending selected 12 and 24 hour competitions. All three members have been training hard in the off season and with strong results already to their names theteam are ready to race.

Yeti Cycles have always been known for supporting top international racers with their factory teams and the UK supported race team will be treading in the footsteps of some of the sport's most iconic names. Legendary figures like John Tomac and former World Champion Juli Furtado have both pulled on the famous jersey and raced for the Colodaro based manufacturer over the years, and as the brand celebrates its 30th birthday the UK based team will be looking to climb up the rankings and onto the podium around the country.

Piloting the full Carbon Fibre ARCC hardtail complete with components from sponsors Race Face, Easton, Spiuk, Onza and SDG the team are kitted out with the perfect bike for competitive XC racing and thanks to hydration supplied by Skratch Labs so will their bodies. Packed with features, 29" wheels and the classic Yeti hardtail 'looped' chainstays the ARCC is the perfect bike to take to the race track.
