My XC bike, although actually gets used for everything, including downhill. I've owned it since new and it has been all over Europe (Pyrenees, Italy, St. Moritz etc). Gradually replaced bits as and when needed. All the Rocky Mountain parts are still on it though - shows how long lasting they are! Could do with some slightly wider bars though - things have moved on since 2003.

Off the peg 120mm super light Rocky Element. Only had it a month but absolutely LOVE this bike. Climbs as well as the old Element, but with a slacker head angle it flies on the way down. Carbon frame is stiff and super light. Switched the Fizik seat (razor blade) for a SDG Bel Air saddle, and upgraded the cranks to some Race Face Next SL's. Also upgraded the bars to Race Face Next SL's. Am saving for a Next SL seatpost to match now and she'll be completely finished. Rode Haldon at the weekend and trimmed two minutes off my previous PB.

Fox forks, Rocky Altitude frame, SDG saddle, Formula brakes, Race Face bits and bobs. Climbs amazingly for a 140mm travel rig. Took this pic just before road Cymn Carn - bloody awesome bike for trail centre riding - nice seating position for climbs, then get out the saddle and just let it rage on the way down!
