Description Rocky Mountain pioneered their groundbreaking StraightUp geometry with the Altitude and it has since become regarded as the best climbing bike in its catagory. The Altitude's 76 degree seat tube angle and its patented Smoothlink suspension literally sets the stadard for pedaling effiency. Oh and it rips descents too!! For 2011 the Altitude is leaner and meaner with a new down tube and custom alloy hardware throughout making it even lighter.

Straight-Up Geometry

The Altitude's 76 degree seat angle puts the rider in the most efficient pedaling position with the suspension sagged. Instead of being stuck behind the BB, the rider is now on top on it like they should be.

NEW 50mm OD Zero Stack Headtube

50 gram weight saving with no decrease in stiffness.

Redesigned Down Tube

Rocky have straightened the down tube on the Altitude to save weight and flared each end for stiffer head tube and down tube junctions.

New 2 Piece Chainstay Yoke makes the rear stiffer and lighter.

Adjustable height seatpost compatible with cable guides already in place.
