After launching the new ARC rim at Sea Otter last week, with widths of 24, 27 and 30mm, we are proud to announce the new wide rims will be available as a wheel set to compete at a highly competitive price point.

The Heist wheels and ARC rims focus on having an extremely wide inner rim width to go along with the current industry trend of wider rim profiles on Trail → Enduro bikes. The benefits of the wider rim is that it gives your tyre a more square profile which dramatically helps give the tyre a more stable feel when cornering. Additionally, depending on tyre choice, it will also move the angle of the side knobs which aids in adding stability during hard cornering. The rims are also tubeless compatible.

The wheels feature the new X5 hub, which positions bearings much further apart than previous Easton models and wider than most of the competition. Extensively field tested, so expect excellent durability and easy serviceability.

They will be available as fronts and rears – with or without XD driver – and a pair will come in at at just £450 which positions them at a very competitive price point for an AM/Enduro/Trail wheelset in this width.
