The Foxy XR has been shortlisted in What Mountain Bike magazines prestigious Trail Bike of the Year test putting it amongst bikes from some of the largest brands on the market today. What MTB's Trail Bike of the Year test is their yearly super test of every trail bike they can get their hands on from brands all over the world. Testers put in hundreds of hours riding and testing the bikes before compiling a shortlist of the very best cream of the crop and this year the Mondraker Foxy XR made their listing.

Here’s what they had to say about the Forward Geometry Foxy XR

Freaky to look at but fantastic to ride, Mondraker has thrown away the rulebook with its XR geometry bikes. The unique Zero reach stem on top of slacked out Fox 34 forks is balanced by an extended mainframe to give ultra-stable, long wheelbase corner carving. The result is an addictively aggressive and usable bike, a pure incitement for a tyre-sliding assault on any trail.
