What’s your name?
Francie Arthur.

How long have you been riding bikes?
10 years.

What is your day job?
I have 5 different jobs that I juggle throughout the week, but I’m predominantly a mountain bike coach for my business Duet Cycling, and a gardener. Other work includes graphic design, social media management for a British sculptor, projects for MB Cyclery and modelling for the cycling industry.

What type of riding do you do?
Enduro, DH, XC and road.

What is your favourite trail?
Anything that’s off-piste and a good balance between fun and scary! All my home trails are the best, and the occasional away-day to mix things up.

What made you pick this bike?
It’s the absolute dream! I coach and ride a lot, which gets exhausting, so the electric helps me do a whole day coaching, then I still have energy to ride for myself. It’s also great to join my mates who have eBikes and we can cover bigger miles in less time.

Have you changed/added anything to your bike to suit your riding style?
I run the Michelin Wild Enduro tyres, which I love, and I think I’m going to put higher-rise bar on it, but otherwise it’s stock and she’s absolutely perfect.

What is your favourite thing about the bike?
Flying to the top of trails! Then holding on tight, nudging it in the right direction and it honestly sails down some really rough tracks and laps it up. It’s just so smooth and especially as I’m off the back of an ankle, wrist & hand injury, I don’t get shaken about - the bike takes the hits!

Do you have any adventures planned with the bike this year?
Yes I’ve just had a big wall calendar arrive in the post and I’m in the middle of filling it with fun bike adventures. I love all the riding I can do from home, but I’ll definitely be taking it further afield & to some start lines this Summer!
