TUNED BY TRIAL AND VICTORY.
Yeti put every bit of knowledge acquired on their way to the top of the E-EDR series into the tune of Sixfinity and optimised for MTe’s drive unit traits. Because all six linkage members control wheel path and the shock rate, Sixfinity allows for far greater independence when tuning for acceleration and deceleration, traction and supportive suspension characteristics unique to the demands of a drive unit.

LEVERAGE LIKE YOU LIKE IT.
With the MTe, you can adjust the Sixfinity progression rate to fine tune to your riding style and shock choice with the flip of a chip. Choose supportive and efficient, or a livelier feel with more bottom-out resistance. When flipping between 29” and 27.5” chips, geometry is retained as well as consistent linear progression providing confidence-inspiring predictability.

ACCELERATION RESPONSE: TUNED FOR E.
With Sixfinity, Yeti tune pedalling efficiency at sag, and the difference between the smallest and largest cogs in the cassette at sag, to scale inversely with MTe’s electric assist. As a result, the MTe anti-squat magnitudes are intentionally greater than the full power 160e. Plus, as the Switch Link moves up, pedalling support is provided where desired with a higher anti-squat around sag. And as the Switch Link moves down, pedalling support is sharply reduced where desired with a lower anti-squat past sag.

DECELERATION RESPONSE: PREDICTABLE CONTROL.
Rather than attempting to reduce braking forces on suspension activity, Sixfinity uses these forces to the rider’s advantage. MTe’s anti-rise remains perceptibly consistent throughout suspension travel (intentionally small change in the curve), striking the ideal balance between traction and geometry preservation when braking. It’s this trait combined with the switching behaviour of the acceleration response that puts Sixfinity in a performance class all to itself.

ALIGNED FOR SPEED.
The MTe carries forward Yeti’s World Cup winning, precision-machined floating collet axle designed linkage. Using standard sized cartridge bearings their floating collet axles boost a perfectly aligned shock and smooth linkage that lasts.

PRESERVED GEO ADJUSTABILITY.
Running a mixed wheel set up with a 29er front wheel and 27.5 wheel in the back is easily adjusted with a flip chip. Geometry is fully retained, along with ride characteristics and ability to still adjust leverage rates.

INTEGRATED FRAME PROTECTION
On the muddiest race days, the integrated rear fender keeps debris from impeding suspension movement of the Sixfinity switch link. To protect against rock strikes, the MTe features a downtube guard that doubles as an access door, facilitating battery swaps and service access to internally routed cables.

VECTRAN ENHANCED LAYUP.
The MTe carbon frame has been expertly tuned for desired ride characteristics. For the first time in a production YETI, the MTe is enhanced with Vectran plies, a high-performance multifilament like Kevlar. Pioneered on our Special Projects DH bike, it offers exceptional impact resistance and contributes to overall strength. DH toughness included.

CUSTOM INTEGRATED CHAINGUIDE.
Yeti’s custom, proprietary designed chainguide mounts efficiently into the lower pivot bolt for a lightweight, clean and effective solution. 32-34t Max chainring compatibility in two positions.

CABLE MANAGEMENT.
Secure clamp closures and grommets at frame entry and exits secures all cables, eliminating rattles and keeping grit from entering the frame. Brakes can easily be set up to accommodate ‘moto’ style routing. Whether running a mechanical drivetrain and dropper or a wireless setup, cable management is intuitively easy and quiet.

ACCESSORY MOUNT.
Keeping tools easily accessible and quiet, the strapless accessory mount takes tools or tubes securely attached to the frame. Now your bib shorts and pant pockets stay tool-free.

A TIDY AND SMOOTH RIDE.
The proprietary, in-house designed Yeti carbon handlebar is engineered for a compliant ride while offering internal e-MTB routing for a clean cockpit.

HARMONIC PINDRIVE.
The TQ HPR60 drive-unit is centred around an oscillating motion of the cycloidal gear reduction mechanism. Translation for the rider: power is applied evenly and naturally. Nothing harshes a ride like rattles and whirrs from the drive unit. The TQ HPR60 drive-unit also offers virtually silent frame chassis, your friends won’t even hear it.

SEAMLESS DISPLAY.
Fully integrated, enhanced colour display shows battery level and available range. Also offers seamless smartphone integration thanks to tried-and-true ANT+ and Bluetooth standards. TQ display clearly shows input, drive unit power, rpm along with a catalogue of features for the rider.

THE RIGHT BATTERY FOR WHAT YOU’RE AFTER.
The MTe lets you pick the battery based on the ride in mind. Go ultra-light with the 290Wh or choose the 580Wh for hours on hours and the punch of boost mode, you can even pick up a range extender for the mega missions.
