In this video we test and review Yeti Cycles LTe, which is a successor to the former 160e full-power eMTB. It has 160mm of travel in the rear and 170mm of travel in the front. Build prices start at $10,300 and our T3 build comes in at $12,900 and is a SRAM XO Transmission build. Our LTe test bike weighed in at 51.75 lbs without pedals.

Yeti has a brand new e-bike out and we’ve been riding it. The latest MTE is a mid-power, mid-travel e-bike with the brand new TQ HPR60 motor. Still super light, ultra quiet, and totally discreet, TQ’s new motor gets more torque (60Nm), extra power (350w), and a bigger battery (580Wh). There’s also a colour display and an upgraded app.

This is one of those bikes where it’s very easy to get lost in the minutia, and focus on the details at the expense of the ride quality. It’s a very fun bike that can handle a wide range of terrain, and the new TQ HPR 60 drive unit is a noticeable upgrade over the old HPR 50 system.
