Silverfish Yeti Cycles Dealer Summit 2024

Following the recent release of Yeti Cycles latest range of muscle and e-MTB's into the UK market, we were proud to host our 2024 Yeti Cycles Dealer summit out of the Silverfish Service Centre in Risca, South Wales.

A superb week of riding bikes on Risca’s world-class trail network, the Summit gave us the chance to really connect with our UK dealer base and gave them the chance to experience the quality of the Yeti Cycles line up first hand.

Silverfish Commercial Director, Alex Metcalfe said:

“Such a satisfying week, when you see opinion leaders and industry veterans come off the hill buzzing about the bikes they’ve just ridden, it gives you such an amazing feeling.

Thanks to all the team who organised the Yeti Dealer Summit, it was so good to be able to allow so many dealers to test our latest Yeti 160E bikes and, if they had the energy left, swing their legs over the current range of muscle bikes. Everyone came away with Yeti passion running through their veins”

With the latest 160E models now featuring Shimano’s updated EP801 drive unit, there was a strong focus at the event on these bikes. Pete Treviss from Shimano was on site during the week to get dealers up-to-speed on the boost in performance the new drive unit delivers:

“The biggest update has been the battery management system within the battery and the way it communicates with the drive unit. Along with some smaller updates to the performance of the unit; a bit more power, a lot more adjustability, and more range from the system as well.

The Yeti is one of the most aggressive e-Bikes on the market now, which lends itself to all sorts of riding, and makes it perfect for the UK.”

Silverfish’s Managing Director, Matthew Osborne said:

“You don't get many opportunities to host or attend ride-out events like this with customers and colleagues. This week has been properly good.

A massive shout out to the team who have worked incredibly hard pulling this together. Huge thanks to our dealers who gave up their time to ride, chat and have a few beers with us. The riding at Risca is quality; the 160E’s are amazing; and Tim Williams, our Service Centre Manager, who guided every ride is a beast!

I’m looking forward to the next one.”
