Review: MBUK - 100% Hydromatic Waterproof Glove

MBUK has been testing the 100% Hydromatic Waterproof Glove. Here's what they had to say:
The Hydromantics prove that waterproof gloves don’t have to be chunky or cumbersome. They’re impressively weatherproof, and the membrane doesn’t pull out when removing clammy hands, making them easy to get on and off. While the cut is only slightly pre-curved, the palm doesn’t bunch too badly when you’ve got your hands on the grips.
The long cuff sits nicely under jacket arms and includes a strip of the palm material to help you pull the glove over damp hands. Because the palm is made from polyurethane (PU), it isn’t the grippiest once your grips get wet. The touchscreen conductivity isn’t very consistent either, which makes phone use frustrating. We’d also prefer it if the fingertips were a little less roomy.
On the plus side, the mesh-effect backing seems to add some insulation, so while these may not be great in deep winter, they do offer decent warmth on wet, wild days on the hill. Reflective logos add a touch of visibility in the dark too.
Overall 3.5 out of 5 Stars
