What’s your name?
Laurie Arthur.
How long have you been riding bikes?
I am 27 years old and can’t remember not riding bikes of some sort! Grew up riding and loads of bmx - the good old days.
What is your day job?
Have a few! Freelance bike model, bike coach @DuetCycling, excavator driver, landscaper and chippy at Out Of The Woods Barns.
What type of riding do you do?
Mainly Gravity/trail riding, whatever DH stuff the South of England has to offer! More tech or extreme always makes me happiest. Riding trips away always welcomed!
What is your favourite trail?
If you know me you’ll know I’m useless at remembering trail names. Coronet Peak - NZ, Pila full Ridge line - Italy. Dyfi bike park - Wales has to be my favourite place to ride. Too many good places to choose from!
What made you pick this bike?
Love alpine adventures, riding DH, and finding odd gaps to pull up on, this bike lets me do it all, and forgives me every single time! It also lets me pedal back up, to do it all over again.
What is your favourite thing about the bike?
Yeti Cycles have mastered the whole ‘trail bike that does it all’ with this one. Pedals well, rips on the downhill and the faster you go the more fun the bike is. So, the fact it’s such a fun all-rounder for me is the best thing about it.
Do you have any adventures planned with the bike this year?
Llangollen Welsh national enduro, Isle of Man BEMBA, Minehead champs - always a belter! I’ll be at most of the Southern enduro’s again too. Scott always does an epic job there. This year I’d like to focus on having more quality bike time, filming/riding trips.
