What made you pick this bike?
IT’S A YETI!  There’s something very special about a Yeti.  In 2021 I needed a race bike and everything I read said the Yeti SB150 was the one.  Yeti say their bikes are ‘race bred,’ and after riding one for a year, I agree!  The SB160 is a natural upgrade to my much-loved SB150.

Have you changed/added anything to your bike to suit your riding style?
The bike is almost stock / straight out of the box.  I’m 6’1” so I’ve added my old 200mm FOX dropper.  After years on the CushCore Pro’s I’m trying the XC inserts, Peaty’s Tubeless Conversion Kit and Michelin Wild Enduro tyres: the SB160 is so quiet all you can hear is the tyres ripping up the ground.  This bike and these tyres give an insane level of grip.

What is your favourite thing about the bike?
IT’S A YETI!  For me as a racer it does exactly what I need it to do and exactly what Yeti said it does.  The SB150 was and still is an amazing bike, but somehow everything about the SB160 adds up to so much more.  It looks sick too!

Do you have any adventures planned with the bike this year?
I’ve yet to finalise my schedule, but it’s going to be another busy year: I’ve qualified for the U21’s UCI Enduro World Series and Stages 3-7 are in Europe: Finale Ligure, Leogang, Val di Fassa Trentino, Loudenvielle and either Les Gets, Chatel or Morzine.  I plan to do as many British National Enduro Series (BNES) and Southern Enduro Series races as I can.  I’ll also race at Ard Rock, some PMBA Enduro’s and (when announced) a few Enduro World Series Qualifiers.
