What’s your name?
George Currie.

How long have you been with Silverfish?
I’ve been here Since May 2022.

What is your job?
I’m the South West Territory Manager (Rep).

What type of riding do you do?
I ride a lot of Trail / Enduro tracks. I’m lucky enough to have Poldice Valley on my doorstep here in Cornwall, which has some big jumps, Steep technical terrain, and some pretty unique features. We’ve also got some epic coastline here which makes for some great riding if you know where to look.

What is your favourite trail?
I’m quite partial to a bit of Enter the Dragon into Trail X at Bike park Wales, It Definitely gets the blood pumping. But my favourite location to ride has got to be the Forest of Dean. There’s just such a vast number of different types of riding in one spot, it makes for a great day out on the bike.

What made you pick this bike?
It’s a lightweight heavy hitter that destroys the down and crushes the climbs. I’m also lucky enough to spend quite a bit of time in Wales which suits the SB160’s capability. It’s a long travel Enduro bike that also doubles up as a fun to ride, reliable trail bike… what’s not to love? For as long as I can remember a Yeti has always been my dream bike, so it was only right that my first one was Turquoise!

Have you changed/added anything to your bike to suit your riding style?
I’ve changed the stem out for a 40mm for a slightly snappier steering feel. I’ve also put a slightly higher rise 35mm bar on which I’ve always found to be much more comfortable and inspires a bit more confidence when pointing the bike downhill. I’m running CushCore inserts front and Rear so I can get the pressures right down to maximise grip without having to compromise sidewall stability. Paired with the Superfast rolling yet ultra grippy Michelin Wild AM2’s front and rear, this thing just wants to be ridden full bore EVERYWHERE!
